GOVERNOR MOORE HOLDS A 27 PERCENT LEAD OVER REPUBLICAN CHALLENGER DAN COX ACCORDING TO NEW MARYLAND NOW POLL

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – A solid majority of Marylanders – 56 percent – approve of the job Governor Wes Moore is doing, while 39 percent disapprove, according to a new statewide poll conducted by Blended Public Affairs in partnership with Perry Jacobson. This is a net approval of +17 and is an increase from when this question was asked in July 2025 when his approval was +8 percent.

HALF OF MARYLANDERS STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY ACCORDING TO NEW MARYLAND NOW POLL

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After years of significant inflation, rising energy costs and recent gas price spikes, half of Marylanders report that they are “really struggling financially” or “just getting by,” according to a new statewide poll conducted by Blended Public Affairs in partnership with Perry Jacobson. Presented with a list of issues for lawmakers and Governor Wes Moore to prioritize, respondents placed lowering utility bills at the top of the list.
