HALF OF MARYLANDERS STRUGGLING FINANCIALLY ACCORDING TO NEW MARYLAND NOW POLL

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – After years of significant inflation, rising energy costs and recent gas price spikes, half of Marylanders report that they are “really struggling financially” or “just getting by,” according to a new statewide poll conducted by Blended Public Affairs in partnership with Perry Jacobson. Presented with a list of issues for lawmakers and Governor Wes Moore to prioritize, respondents placed lowering utility bills at the top of the list.
