Alex Hughes knows Maryland—and vice versa. After all, she’s spent the last two decades at the center of the state’s most consequential political battles, working directly with Speakers of the House, police commissioners, mayors, members of Congress, and hundreds of state and local officials.

Alex’s expertise spans public and private sector strategy, crisis communications, reputation management, and executive counsel. A trusted advisor to leaders across sectors, she brings a sharp, no-nonsense approach to solving complex challenges and delivering real results. Whether shaping legislative agendas, navigating high-stakes crises, or driving corporate and advocacy strategy, Alex delivers with clarity and precision.

Alex holds a degree in Politics from Princeton University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and a Corporate Board Readiness certificate from Santa Clara University. She currently serves on the boards of CareFirst, Inc., the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Hospital, and City Corps.
